Firm Sues County Board Over Solar Facility Vote


An organization that had plans for a business photo voltaic power facility rejected by the Vermilion County Board is now suing the Board. Mural Energy LLC is asking the courtroom for a judicial evaluate of the County Board’s vote final month when it rejected plans to construct photo voltaic panels on a 1,400-acre farm. Mural Energy LLC desires a judicial evaluate of the county’s vote to start inside 90 days. The firm claims it complies with the provisions of Illinois’ Commercial Wind Energy Facilities and Commercial Solar Energy Facilities Act.
