South Korean utility Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) has formally accomplished the development of a giant battery vitality storage challenge within the metropolis of Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
Billed as the most important battery vitality storage system in Asia for grid stabilization functions, the system has an influence output of 978 MW and a storage capability of 889 MWh.
The ceremony marking the completion of development was held on Thursday, September 27, on the 154 kV Bubuk Substation in Miryang.
