Chinese microinverter producer Hoymiles has opened its first abroad manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The facility targets the North American and Latin American market.
The firm constructed the manufacturing facility in Vynmsa Industrial Park, 6 km from Monterrey International Airport. It covers 6,700 sq. meters and is “geared up with complete manufacturing assets, together with warehouses devoted to printed circuit board meeting (PCBA), supplies and completed merchandise,” in accordance with the corporate. The facility holds 170 individuals.
The manufacturing facility will produce microinverters “such because the HMS-2000-4T and HMS-2000DW-4T collection, for residential and industrial photo voltaic functions,” the corporate stated. The manufacturing facility has an preliminary manufacturing capability of 500,000 items per yr.
The firm stated it plans future growth to double manufacturing capability by including new manufacturing traces.
