Enel Colombia, a unit of Enel Green Power and a part of the Enel Group, has put in the final photo voltaic panels for the 486.7 MW “Guayepo I & II” photo voltaic park. When operational, it is going to be the most important PV venture in Colombia.
The firm stated the venture is already delivering energy to the National Interconnected System as a part of a take a look at part.
The photo voltaic park consists of 69 subfields of 1,110 hectares in Ponedera and Sabanalarga, within the division of Atlántico. Installation started in February 2023, with a 595 W bifacial module within the trackers.
Before development started, Enel signed a 15-year energy buy settlement (PPA) with native brewer Bavaria.
