Avangrid begins producing energy from 321MWdc photo voltaic PV plant in Texas

Avangrid stated the challenge is the biggest solar energy plant in its portfolio, and the primary photo voltaic challenge in Texas.

This would put the operational date round Spring 2025.

Avangrid is a subsidiary of Spanish utility Iberdrola because it was absolutely acquired by the latter in May 2024. Iberdrola took full possession of Avangrid for a complete of US$2.551 billion after buying an 18.4% minority stake in it has not been held by Avangrid for US $35.75 per share. Following the closing of the transaction, Iberdrola requested that Avangrid’s shares be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange.
