The Secretary of State for Energy has accepted the development of three massive photo voltaic farms within the east of England.
Sunnica on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border, Gate Burton in Lincolnshire and Mallard Pass in Lincolnshire and Rutland have all obtained approval.
Sunnica and Gate Burton will generate 500MW every whereas Mallard Pass will generate 350MW.
In whole, these initiatives will present about two-thirds of the photo voltaic vitality capability put in final yr.
