The 83 MW Tepuy photo voltaic plant – situated within the municipality of La Dorada within the division of Caldas, Colombia – started business operation.

The mission serves the National Interconnected System (SIN) with 199,534 bifacial photo voltaic panels from 540 W to 550 W, supported by 29,000 metallic constructions with photo voltaic trackers.

EPM, the most important public service supplier in Colombia, began the mission in July 2022.

UPME, an entity below the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia, says that the nation has acquired 611.44 MW of latest capability from non-conventional renewable vitality sources (FNCER) since January 2023.
