From pv journal in Spain
Spanish startup Solum has developed a walkable photo voltaic pavement. Its Arena panels are designed for set up on roofs and terraces as energetic areas, says Solum co-founder Luis Muñoz Lombardo. The panels, measuring 120 cm x 67 cm, are made of ordinary silicon. They are appropriate with several types of flooring and are simple to wash.
The firm says that the panels supply simple set up, with an anti-slip floor and a most temperature above 60 C. Solum claims a return on funding between in 4 and 7 years throughout Europe, making them aggressive with conventional photo voltaic panels.
The firm mentioned it goals to put in the panels in places resembling lodge terraces, workplace buildings, sports activities facilities, and residential complexes. It can also be mentioned to be open to growing photo voltaic bike lanes with cities.
The Arena panels are actually out there for order and will probably be prepared for set up in late 2024 or early 2025.
