LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Eastern Kentucky Power Cooperative (EKPC) has proposed constructing a photo voltaic farm in Fayette County.
The energy co-op introduced a plan to develop a 387-acre photo voltaic farm between Interstate 64, Haley Road, and Winchester Road. The photo voltaic farm is deliberate to generate 40 megawatts of electrical energy, sufficient to serve the annual electrical energy wants of 4,560 common Kentucky households, in line with EKPC.
