Swedish producer Midsummer has chosen a location for a future 200 MW manufacturing unit that can produce CIGS skinny movie photo voltaic cells for the European market.
The manufacturing unit, partly financed by a €32.3 million grant from the EU Innovation Fund, will likely be positioned within the municipality of Flen, south-eastern Sweden. Midsummer will take over the world this coming September, when the EU approves the placement and begin of the undertaking.
