Apple has released iOS 16.2 Release Candidate for developers. We have also released macOS Ventura 13.1 Release Candidate, watchOS 9.2 Release Candidate, and iPadOS 16.2 Release Candidate.

As you can see from the video, this new Release Candidate adds a number of new features to the iPhone.
This includes the new Freeform app, designed as a cross-collaboration app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple’s Mac lineup. This app can be used for drawing, sketching, taking notes, etc.
There’s also Apple’s new end-to-end encryption capabilities, iCloud’s suite of apps, and iCloud’s new advanced data protection features.
The new iOS 16.2 Release Candidate is now available for developers to try. The software will be available to public beta testers this week as well.
Apple plans to release the final version of iOS 16.2 next week, along with iPadOS 16.2, watchOS 9.2 and macOS Ventura 13.1. We’ll let you know as soon as we know when the new release will be.
