A brief report of the day.
The first is military issues. Today we had a detailed conversation with our commanders about the operational situation.
Some people in the Undercity sometimes seem to forget the war entirely and start ignoring reality, taking advantage of the protection of their heroes.
Ignoring war is a luxury no one can afford.
Heavy fighting continues in the main directions of operations, especially in the Donbass.
Enemy shelling and attacking around the clock. But the battle for Donbass continues. The war in the South continues. We see what kind of power Russia is amassing and we know how to respond.
We will ensure that we respond to the enemy’s regular terrorist attacks on our border regions of Sumy and Kharkiv.
Ukraine does not show weakness. The state will not show weakness.
Today I signed several decrees. Regarding overseas business trips of civil servants, there is a principle decision of NSDC. This applies to all officials at various levels of central and local government. It applies to law enforcement officers, people’s deputies, prosecutors and all those who are supposed to work for the state. If they want to rest now, rest outside the civil service. Officials will no longer be able to travel abroad for vacation or other non-governmental purposes.
Within five days, the Cabinet is to develop border crossing procedures for officials so that only actual business trips are grounds for border crossings.
Another NSDC decision today concerns our spiritual independence, which we are strengthening and will continue to strengthen. Sanctions were imposed against 22 Russian citizens who support a policy of terrorism and genocide under the guise of spirituality.
We have also already made personnel decisions for various levels of officials in ministries and other central government agencies, regions and law enforcement systems. Some today, some tomorrow.
I have held several conferences about our international activities. One was related to Rammstein’s results and what he got in Ukraine. The second meeting was about the new phase of the diplomatic marathon that started after my visit to Washington. I have had him over 30 negotiations at various levels with leaders of partner countries.
This marathon gave us the results we needed and really strengthened our defense. We are currently working to fill his February with more substantial contact with the leader.
Today I spoke to attendees of the Winter Conference of America’s Business Leaders who are members of the National Association of State Houses. These are his 100,000+ entrepreneurs who employ about half of America’s workforce.
It is important for Americans at all levels to know and feel how important and historically necessary our cooperation – that of Ukraine and America.
One more after.
Tomorrow marks exactly 11 months of all-out war. It will be the 335th day. Just like the 334th, there will come a day when we will combine all our strengths for victory. For the victory of Ukraine.
Not a person against any of us. But for Ukraine as a whole. For the victory of our country as a whole in the war for the freedom and independence of all Ukrainians.
it happens. And all the necessary steps for this are performed.
Thank you to all frontline warriors! Today I want to congratulate the Air Force anti-aircraft gunners. you gave us a nice day. Russian aircraft, helicopters and missiles were shot down.
I would also like to thank the fighters of the 35th Independent Marine Brigade and the 79th Independent Air Raid Brigade for their bravery and Ukraine for bringing the necessary results in the direction of Donetsk. Thank you guys!
Thank you to everyone who steadfastly defends the position of our country!
Glory to Ukraine!
