San Francisco: Ride-hailing giant Uber and its subsidiary Uber Eats support the Live Activities feature on the iPhone.
According to 9to5Mac, the feature will allow users to easily track their rides and orders via the lock screen or Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro.
Dynamic islands are circular cutouts at the top of the screen.
Uber Live Activities was first discovered by a Reddit user who saw the option pop up during an Uber ride.
Additionally, one Twitter user reported seeing the feature on both Uber and Uber Eats.

The Uber Eats app shows users the progress of an order being prepared by the restaurant, picked up by the delivery driver, and delivered.
However, not everyone has seen the new features yet, suggesting that the company may be doing a gradual rollout while it continues testing, the report said.
