According to reports, Uber and its subsidiary UberEats now support live activity features on the iPhone. 9to5Mac reports that the feature will allow users to track their rides and orders via the lock screen or dynamic islands on the iPhone 14 Pro.
Uber and UberEats’ live activities feature was reportedly first noticed by Reddit users. Additionally, Twitter users reportedly found the feature on Uber. With the help of this feature, users can see how food deliveries and rides are progressing.
However, we have not yet confirmed that the feature will be released to all users. The feature will reportedly be rolled out gradually to all users, and you can download the latest versions of these from the Apple Store to run the feature.
To enable the Live Activites feature on their iPhone, users can go to the Settings app, search for UberEats and Uber, and[Live Activites]The toggle button should be on.
Meanwhile, Uber has added new security updates to enhance passenger safety and commuting. The company has introduced new features such as an updated ride check feature, seat belt reminder, SOS integration, an upgraded safety toolkit and extended support.
