Travel complaints continued across the country and in Tulsa Thursday morning as people deal with cancellations and delays.
Another day at Tulsa International Airport, all but one Southwest Airlines flight has already been cancelled. On Wednesday, 2,400 flights were canceled nationwide in the Southwest alone.
Another issue facing travelers is baggage. On Wednesday, bags piled up to the ceiling inside the airport’s southwest baggage claim. Southwestern customers trickled in throughout the day to see if their packages had arrived in Tulsa.
Some travelers were reunited with bags, others with half luggage, and others left empty-handed and wondering where their luggage was.
Traveler Jamika Moore said, “It was really stressful. Day after day, I kept calling phone numbers, kept trying to get through, trying to call different airports.” .
Southwest Airlines is currently flying a very limited schedule to keep up and says it should be back on track by next week.
