Looking for access to resources, mentorship, networking opportunities and support? Then a REACH incubator might be the right place for your startup. The Next Generation Data Incubator has called on over 35 promising big data startups and her SMEs to participate in the third round of incubation to fund her over €1 million.
Benefits offered by the program include equity-free funds of up to €120,000, large companies, access to DIH and its industrial data sets, big data computing infrastructure and visibility. Selected startups can also use REACH big data analytics tools to ease development and accelerate MVPs.
The REACH program will guide these start-ups through four intense stages of technological and business growth over 11 months. His third and final incubation round of the project is now being sought.
The four phases of the program are: Explore, Experiment, Evolve, PublishEach phase will focus on a different stage of development and offer different funding, but the best solution will also be awarded €20,000 per incubation round.
3 ways to apply for the program
There are three ways to apply and participate in the REACH Incubator:
THEME-DRIVEN TRACK: In collaboration with major European digital innovation hubs, REACH has defined a cross-cutting data value chain (DVC) theme for participants to work on. The DVC theme available in the third call is Circular Economy. Manufacturing/Industry; Energy; Health; Digital Marketing, Agriculture, Retail; Tourism & Entertainment, Manufacturing/Industry, Healthcare & Insurance.
READY-MADE TRACK: The application addresses the challenges defined by the REACH data providers according to the needs detected in the market (JOT, Migros Ticaret A.Ş., Sonae, VRT, Play&go experience, Idea75, Almerys , YKT, Bizkaia, EDP, COFARES, AN GROUP, Bilbao Council).
Free Choice Track: Applicants devise new DVCs by bringing their own data providers and/or own datasets using those already promoted within the REACH Data Catalog. The applicant, a single her SME, applies with her own data provider (at least one) and proposes a joint problem to be solved.
Supporting startups and solutions to solve real-world challenges
By participating in the REACH Incubator, start-ups and SMEs can benefit from the partnerships and collaborations made during the programme, while also focusing on their growth and international expansion.
So far, the REACH Incubation Program portfolio includes over 60 big data start-ups. Operated by 10 core partners and 13 data providers, it provides a fertile environment for start-ups and small businesses.
REACH has a particular interest in supporting secure and trusted data-driven solutions that utilize unique, often multi-stakeholder, industrial and personal data.
