For Highway 50 from Grand Junction to Montrose, the roads can be wet and slippery, including around the town of Grand Junction. Additionally, on the western slope of I-70, roads can be covered with snow and commuting can be messy. Snowfall continues across the western slopes into the afternoon and moves eastward into the evening.
