Lisa Su, CEO of Advanced Micro Devices Inc., said the chipmaker expects to gain market share in the critical data center market this year. AMD’s fourth-quarter data center earnings increased by 42%. Intel said last week that its data center sales fell by 33%. AMD shares rose 1.6% in after-hours trading on Tuesday.
Snap Inc. has warned that revenue growth is likely to decline this quarter after revenue growth stalled in the last three months of last year. Snapchat’s parent company’s fourth-quarter revenue was $1.3 billion, roughly flat from the year-ago quarter and broadly in line with Wall Street expectations. Snap shares plunged 14% in after-hours trading.
Super Micro Computer Inc. expects revenue of $1.42 billion to $1.52 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $188 to $2.14 for the third quarter ending March 31 . Supermicro shares fell 11% in after-hours trading.
Electronic Arts has postponed the release of its major Star Wars game to April 28 and will halt development of two mobile games, Apex Legends Mobile and Battlefield Mobile, citing quality concerns. EA’s stock plunged 11% in after-hours trading.
