DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m looking for a local company to help me move from my tiny house to an even smaller one just 20 miles away. I don’t have much, but I need help. Pack it all in. I need a mover to move boxes and some furniture. The biggest item is a queen size mattress and a recliner.I want to hire a reputable insurance company.—Ida, Monmouth

DEAR SUN SPOTS: We are new to the area and love Sun Spots. I also really like and appreciate good Chinese food. What are your readers’ favorite places and what do you like most about them? We like to go on date nights and sit down, but we have an unpredictable toddler, so we do takeout most of the time.
This is my first letter to Sun Spots and I’m sure there are others. It’s such a great resource.—Cecilia—Auburn
ANSWER: Readers, here’s your chance: Tell Cecilia all about your favorite Chinese food.
DEAR SUN SPOTS: Do you know anyone in the area who accepts used and unused greeting cards?no name, no city
Answer: We put this in Sun Spots Land in case a senior center, child care center or crafter wants the card.
You can also send it to the recycling card program at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, 100 St. Jude’s St., Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
Send only the front side of the card. Kids craft new cards to sell to make money for the ranch. It’s a great way to reuse your cards for legitimate purposes instead of throwing them away.
Hallmark, American Greeting, and Disney cards are not accepted due to copyright laws. You can also donate new cards with or without envelopes. Call 1-702-294-7100 for more information.
DEAR SUN SPOTS: Again, I need computer help. I know I’ve released information before under the name of rolodex, of which he used one, so I’d like to get in touch with him again, but this time I think I need new hardware. Can you help me?—Rose, Notown
ANSWER: Greene (www.angelascms.com, [email protected]), 207-520-9573. She should be able to help you, but her ACS (Action Computer Services) at Lewiston (www.acs4u.com, 207-786-8740) and her Buck Buchanan at her PCS (Professional Computer Services) ( www.pro-pc.us/, [email protected], 207-784-6295). I wish you luck. Computer problems can be frustrating.
Readers, if there are any other computer engineers you would like to recommend, now is the time.
