The Bella Vista Computer Club will be held on January 9th at 7pm. Topics are digital file management conventions that make files easier to find.

needlework
The Bella Vista Needlework Club usually meets on the first Monday of each month. But because of the New Year holidays, the group will meet at 10:00 a.m. on the second Monday of January 9th in his OZK Bank community his room in the Sugar Creek Center in Bellavista. New members are always welcome. All needle he crafts are welcome, including knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching.
If you have a piece you would like to show off, please bring it to Show and Tell.
Coffee is available, but please bring your own.

The Siloam Springs Writers Guild will be held, weather permitting, on January 9th at 5:30 pm at First Baptist Church, 2000 Dawn Hill Road. Please use the west parking lot entrance.

Northwest Arkansas Letter Writers will meet in the meeting room of the Bella Vista Public Library on January 10th at 4:00 pm.
Everyone is encouraged to make it a New Year’s resolution to write more letters to family and friends.

Bella Vista Christian Women’s Connection will host a brunch on January 11th from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista. $10 for breakfast.
The inspirational speaker is Sherry Barr from Claremore, Oklahoma, and her message is “Humor in the Heartbreak.” The special feature is “New Year … New Look” by Debbie Curtis.

Ozark Hill hikers of the American Volkssports Association go for a walk at Pea Ridge National Military Park on January 14th. Registration is at the Visitor Center at 15930 EUS 62, Garfield from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. For credit he charges $3 and for non-credit he charges $2.
Participants choose either a 5K or 10K walk. The walk is generally on paved trails with gentle terrain. Signs describing the battle events are scattered at various stops along the trail.
The Ozark Hill Hikers membership fee is $12 per year, with $1 prorated for each remaining month of the calendar year.

rotary club
The Rotary Club of Siloam Springs hosts Tacos for a Cause as part of its Rotaract club sponsorship. The fundraiser will take place on January 14th from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Arbest Community Room, 1645 US 412. There is also a chance to win a taco serving bar.
All proceeds will be used to support “The Demand Project” to help fight human trafficking survivors outside of Watts, Oklahoma and Kansas, Oklahoma.

perfect harmony
The Perfect Harmony Women’s Barbershop Chorus will resume practice on January 23rd and will practice Mondays through March 13th from 3-4:30pm at the Highlands Christian Church at 1500 Forest Hills Blvd. at Bellavista. The group will return to its regular schedule on March 23rd from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, also at the Highlands Christian Church. Women of all ages and vocal ranges can experience barbershop singing.
