Samsung has announced PM9C1a, a new high performance PC SSD. It will be available in different capacities.
These include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options and come with Samsung’s 5nm processors and new controllers based on 7th generation V-NAND technology.

With top-notch speed, the PM9C1a SSD is perfect for everyday use as well as more demanding computing and gaming applications. By leveraging the PCIe 4.0 interface, Samsung’s PM9C1a boasts 1.6x faster sequential read speeds and 1.8x faster sequential write speeds than its predecessor (PM9B1), at 6,000 megabytes per second (MB/s) and 5,600 megabytes per second (MB/s) respectively.
