While Prince Harry was in London for a charity event last September, the palace announced that Queen Elizabeth II is under medical supervision at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.he told Anderson Cooper of 60 Minutes about what happened next.
“I asked my brother, ‘What’s your plan? How are you and Kate getting there?’ We were jumping on planes together,” said Harry. “It’s a 12-seat, 14-seat, maybe 16-seat plane.”
“You weren’t invited on that plane?” Cooper asked.
“I am not invited,” said Harry.
When Harry arrived at Balmoral alone, the Queen was dead.
“My aunt greeted me as I entered the hall,” said Harry. “Then she asked me if I wanted to meet her. I thought for five seconds and thought, ‘Are you okay with this?’ And I was like, ‘You know what? You can-you can do this.You-you need to say goodbye.” rice field”
“Where was she?” Cooper asked.
“She was in her bedroom,” said Harry. “I was actually — very happy for her, because she ended her life. She finished her life, her husband — was waiting for her. And They were buried together.”
Just like 25 years ago when their mother died, Harry and William found themselves walking together again, but apart. This time behind my grandmother’s coffin.
“Would you like to talk to William now? Send a text message?” Cooper asked.
“Not for now,” said Harry. “But I’m looking forward — I’m looking forward to the fact that we can find peace.”
“How long has it been since we spoke?” Cooper asked.
“For a while,” said Harry.
Harry also said he hadn’t spoken to his father in “a good while”.
“Will we ever return to the royal family as a full-time employee?” Cooper asked.
“No. I don’t think that will happen,” said Harry.
“In the book, you called it a ‘total rupture,'” Cooper said. “Will it heal?”
“Yes,” said Harry. “The ball is in their court, but you know, Meghan and I have been saying that we’re openly apologizing for what we’ve done wrong, but every time I ask that question, no one I can’t give you any details or anything..I need a constructive conversation. It can be done in private and not leaked.
60 Minutes reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment. A representative of the palace requested that the report be provided before the broadcast before considering the comments, which it does not do in 60 Minutes.
