New York (1010 wins) — Police said on Wednesday that a man pushed a woman onto the sidewalk and snatched an iPhone from her hand in a robbery when he released a video of the suspect.
The 57-year-old victim was walking down Catherine and Cherry Streets in the Two Bridges neighborhood shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday when a man approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground.
The man stole the phone from her hand as she lay on the sidewalk, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries to the right side of her face. She refused treatment on her site.
Police said the suspect fled on foot, but surveillance cameras captured the area. Age is believed to be between 25 and 35 years old.
