The new Apple Mac Mini was recently launched, revealing the differences between the M2 Mac Mini and the M2 Pro Mac Mini.
Brandon Butch’s video below showcases both the new M2 Mini and M2 Pro Mac Mini. Let’s see the details.
In the video, the M2 Mac mini is an entry-level model with an M2 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, with the device priced at $599.
The M2 Pro Mac Mini featured in the video comes with an M2 Pro processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage. This model is priced at $1,299.
It’s interesting to see the two devices side by side from a benchmark perspective and see how they perform against each other.
As you can see from the video, the base model seems to have a slower SSD. I heard this yesterday, so I recommend upgrading to at least a 512GB SSD.
Benchmarks show that models with M2 Pro perform better. That’s exactly what you’d expect, considering it’s almost double the price of the M2 model.
The M2 Pro model starts at $1,299, but if you opt for the top processor with a 12-core CPU and 19-core GPU and 32 GB of RAM, it will set you back to $1,999. With all the upgrades, including 8 TB of storage, the price jumps to $4,399.
