Lockly Smart Safe also provides biometric security for your belongings and can be fully controlled from the comfort of your iPhone.
At 12.6″ x 10″ and 3.2″ thick, Lockly Smart Safes can be surface mounted for separate storage spaces. Made from hardened 2.5 mm alloy steel with a corrosion-resistant coating and fire-resistant internal inlays, it offers a high degree of protection for whatever is stored inside.
As a smart safe, it goes beyond traditional unlocking with a physical key as it also offers many smart management options. For example, a digital keypad that shuffles number locations to prevent code guessing and supports up to 60 access codes.
There’s also a 3D biometric sensor that can recognize fingerprints in less than a fifth of a second and supports up to 99 fingerprints.
More interesting elements include smartphones with iOS and Android companion apps for managing safes. Connecting through his Wi-Fi hub on Secure Link allows you to perform various operations on the vault, both locally and remotely from your iPhone.
You can remotely lock and unlock vaults, check status, track access history, and set unique users for vaults, including one-time codes. You’ll also get a notification on your device if someone tries to tamper with your safe.
This connection also helps you set up other smart devices by wirelessly copying and transferring stored fingerprints and access profiles from your smart lock to your Lockly Smart Safe. In iGenie mode, you can also sync your Lockly smart lock to unlock your safe in an emergency by entering the emergency access code from your door lock.
Once installed, the safe runs on 4 AA batteries and can last up to 18 months before needing to be replaced.
The Lockly Smart Safe will be available in the spring for $349.99.
