Digital asset investment firm KR1 PLC (AQSE:KR1) has announced a number of investments in new and existing projects across the blockchain sector.
HydraDX and Basilisk are cross-chain liquidity protocols aimed at enabling frictionless liquidity of crypto assets across different chains. KR1 has invested a total of US$250,000 in HydraDX’s strategic funding round in exchange for a portion of HDX and BSX tokens.
KR1 has invested US$400,000 in Superchain, an “open index protocol that allows you to collect and customize blockchain data in minutes.” This allows builders to create faster decentralized applications.
Other investments include KR1’s US$221,000 investment in the Argent Labs cryptocurrency wallet and US$150,000 investment in the Metaverse-focused blockchain protocol Metaprime.
Commenting on the investment, KR1 Managing Director and Co-Founder Keld van Schreven said:
