Now I’m wondering whether to migrate from iPhone 8+.
As I said, my 8+ works perfectly and has no issues. necessary new phone. But when the Boxing Day promotion kicks in, I doubt I’ll upgrade anyway.
Conventionally, I never upgrade to the latest model. Usually I upgrade 2 or 3 generations back (of the current model) just to save money. Also, because I don’t need the latest and greatest model for my needs. The iPhone X and XR models have been available for months when I got my 8+.
So the question is, if you upgrade, which model do you move to? For the record, my needs don’t make sense to upgrade to a Pro, Max, or Plus model. The entry-level model has a tech upgrade over the one I currently have and the 6.1″. The screen is bigger than his current 5.5″. Displays screens within nearly the same chassis size. I wouldn’t even consider the SE because I don’t want to go back to sub-5 inches. screen.
Apple went for a square edge design with the 12. And 12 will most likely be your go-to model if you follow past conventions.
So iPhone 11, 12, 13, or 14?
Is it even worth considering an 11 when it costs less to go for a 12? And does the difference between a 13 or 14 justify the additional expense over a 12?
idea? opinion? suggestion?
