Apple might Upgrade your iPhone 15 series with WiFi 6E, It’s the same WiFi standard currently available on MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, and iPad Pro with the latest M2. This is according to a research note shared by Barclays analysts Blaine Curtis and Tom O’Malley.
As reported by MacRumors, this will be an upgrade from WiFi 6, which is currently supported by all models of the iPhone 14 series. However, the research notes don’t say whether all models in the iPhone 15 series will feature his WiFi 6E, or only the Pro models.
WiFi 6E offers faster wireless speeds, lower latency, less signal interference, and operates in the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. Of course, to take full advantage of WiFi 6E, you need a router that supports the standard.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, so take this information with a grain of salt. isn’t too surprising either.
