Apple is set to unveil its latest iPhone 15 lineup later this year. But the leaks and rumors have already started. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans to extend Dynamic Island to all four of his iPhone 15 models, which launch later this year.
Available now for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Additionally, the upcoming iPhone is expected to feature USB Type-C and a titanium frame instead of stainless steel.
According to Gurman’s Power On newsletter, the iPhone 15 lineup will have the same four screen sizes as the iPhone 14 series, with users opting for the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro. 6.7 inch iPhone 15 Pro Max. Gurman previously speculated that the iPhone 15 Pro Max he would call the iPhone 15 Ultra, following in the footsteps of the Apple Watch Ultra.
He went on to say that the new iPhone 15 variant will have a “faster processor,” though the moniker remains unknown. Apple will likely call it the A17 Bionic chip, which will be the successor to his A16 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 14 Pro models. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max are believed to be powered by Apple’s own A16 chipset. The newsletter also says that the traditional volume rocker on the iPhone 15 Pro and pro-MAX will be replaced with a haptic button.
Like every year, Apple will release the iPhone 15 series in September 2023. However, before the launch of the new iPhones, Apple is said to be unveiling its highly anticipated mixed reality headset at his WWDC in June 2023.
