From pv journal India
SJVN’s second tender for 1.2 GW of secure, dispatchable energy from renewable initiatives with power storage methods yielded a tariff of INR 4.25 ($0.051)/kWh.
Four builders received by quoting the bottom tariff of INR 4.25/kWh. Among them are Juniper Green (200 MW), ReNew (150 MW), Ganeka Solar/Zelestra (140 MW) and Hero Future Energies (120 MW). The remaining 590 MW was allotted to Avaada at INR 4.26/kWh.
The successful builders will construct renewable power initiatives backed by power storage methods to supply secure, dispatchable renewable power. The initiatives will probably be developed on a build-own-operate foundation.
SJVN will signal 25-year energy buy agreements (PPAs) with profitable bidders
Projects could be positioned anyplace in India and have to be linked to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).
