The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) of Spain has revealed the short-term decision of the primary tender for brand new storage tasks.

Out of a complete funds of €180 million, €167.6 million of capex subsidies have been allotted to 46 tasks, with a cumulative energy of 811.16 MW and a storage capability of three,590.21 MWh.

The complete funding is estimated at €786 million, with a mean subsidy masking 21.32% of the price of a challenge.
