Montreal-headquartered EVLO Energy Storage, a subsidiary of Hydro-Québec, has introduced the launch of its new EVLO Synergy power storage system.

EVLO’s 20-foot containerized lithium ferro-phosphate (LFP) battery power storage system holds 5 MWh of electrical energy and might function for a two-hour or four-hour length.

EVLO mentioned the totally examined and built-in storage system minimizes on-site work throughout set up. The product meets NFPA 69 security requirements and is UL 9540 licensed.

It claims the Synergy battery can last as long as 9,125 cycles over 25 years without having battery replacements.

The enclosure measures 6.06 meters x 2.44 meters x 2.90 meters and operates at temperatures from -30 C to 55 C.

The storage system software program is cloud-based and NERC CIP-ready, enabling onsite and distant supervision and management, with utility-grade SCADA safety for industrial operations.

BloombergNEF says that world power storage capability will exceed 1 TWh by 2030, providing companies resembling frequency regulation, peak shaving, capability help, renewable power integration, and different cost-effective, grid-stabilizing features.

EVLO will unveil EVLO SYNERGY on the RE+ renewable business convention in Anaheim, California. Visit Booth #N89019 on Sept. 10, 2024, at 4 pm (PT) for an unique presentation.
