ONGC has began accepting bids to arrange 1 GW of wind-solar hybrid energy initiatives (500 MW of photo voltaic plus 500 MW of wind) for captive consumption.

Projects could be constructed wherever in India, so long as they’re related to the interstate transmission system. It will probably be applied on a turnkey foundation.

The profitable bidder will probably be accountable for the engineering, procurement and commissioning of the hybrid wind-solar venture, with complete operation and upkeep for 10 years.

The venture commissioning interval is 36 months from the award of the contract.
