Guyana Power and Light has launched a young for an EPC contractor to construct three photo voltaic crops in Guyana with a mixed 15 MWp capability and 22 MWh of battery storage. Applications are due on Sept. 26, in keeping with the tender paperwork.

The publicly owned utility firm is executing the tender for the nationwide authorities. Financing for the tasks will come from funds beneath the Guyana-Norway partnership.

A whole set of bidding paperwork could be bought for a non-refundable price of GYD 20,000 ($95). Bids have to be obtained by publish on Sept. 26.

Guyana had 8 MW of deployed photo voltaic on the finish of final 12 months, in keeping with figures from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
