Dominican Republic’s National Energy Commission Grants Concession for Ardavín Solar Venture


The National Energy Commission (CNE) of the Dominican Republic has formally granted the definitive concession for the ArdavÃn Solar undertaking. The undertaking, with a capability of 101.6 MWp and 83.4 MWn, is scheduled to be positioned within the city of Gaspar Hernández, inside the province of Espaillat. It will function a storage capability of 27.5 MW and 110 MWh.

The concession contract was signed by Edward Veras Daaz, the chief director of the CNE, and César Augusto Santos Sánchez, the consultant of the concessionaire firm, ArdavÃn Solar.

In addition to this important improvement, the 64.70 MWp La Victoria photovoltaic park was inaugurated this week. Located within the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte, this undertaking was developed by BAS Corporation and Dominion, with an funding of roughly $82 million.
