A three way partnership between China’s CREC International Renewable Energy Co. and Bangladesh’s BR Powergen Ltd. (BRPL) has agreed to construct a 100 MW solar energy plant in Madarganj, Jamalpur district, Bangladesh.

BRPL Managing Director Dhurjjati Prosad Sen mentioned pv journal that the facility plant might be constructed on 350 hectares of land with an estimated value of $170 million. The plant is predicted to come back on-line in December 2025.
