French renewable power firm Idex has deployed two photo voltaic carports within the parking a lot of amenities owned by Bordeaux-based vineyard Cordier in Languedoc and Gironde, France.

The two carports will use a complete of 1,118 bifacial photo voltaic modules from Chinese producer DMEGC and 20 EV charging stations.

One of the 2 tasks is nearing completion in Trilles, Département Hérault. The annual manufacturing of photo voltaic panels is estimated at 631 MWh. The carport has 345 W Huawei inverters and eight 22 kW EvBox BusinessLine charging stations.

“With the rising evolution of the French electrical car fleet, this isn’t sufficient,” mentioned Édouard Roblot, director of low carbon buildings at Idex. “But as we all the time plan for this sort of operation, 20% of the areas are geared up and able to obtain new terminals if essential.”

Idex can even promote electrical energy produced by the photo voltaic carports to Cordier, at a value it considers “aggressive.”
