The new product brings the benefits of in-house, enterprise-level protection to small businesses, along with Hughes’ network security expertise, tailored and scaled to meet their needs.
Big companies have in-house experts and even their own experts security operations center (SOC) to mitigate cyber threats, small businesses (companies with up to 1,000 employees) can now access the same capabilities in Hughes. With the addition of MDR and SOCaaS, Hughes now offers a robust suite of managed security services to help prevent, detect, and respond to threats targeting small businesses.
Through both automation and the attention of trained security professionals, the new Hughes MDR service protects businesses from cybercriminals with proactive intervention, real-time incident response, and proactive threat containment.
Through the SOCaaS service, Hughes-certified SOC analysts monitor and respond to threats to customer networks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, leveraging Hughes’ decades of network security expertise. Both services allow SOC analysts to monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and provide customers with insight into their network security posture through real-time dashboards.
