Here’s how to use a VPN on your iPhone to give you extra protection and let you browse the web like you’re from anywhere.

These days, PC VPNs have become an integral part of everyday life. Especially if you’re trying to visit various sites that are geo-blocked or don’t want your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to know what you’re watching.

The added security and freedom to access whatever kind of content you want without fear of being blocked or properly tracked is a blessing. Your subscription carries over, and you have the option of using a free VPN.

Our recommendation is probably something like NordVPN, but there are many others, all with apps on the iPhone.

Most VPN apps handle the setup side of things without you actually needing to enter any information. settings should be used.

You have to find a protocol that has the right protocol. For iPhones and iPads this was L2TP or IPsec and for the protocol we used it was L2TP. If you set it and it doesn’t work, then you will have to remove the setting and start over, as there is no way to switch protocols once set.
