This article explains how to prevent dynamic islands and red recording indicators from appearing in videos captured using the screen recording feature on iPhone 14 Pro models. Keep reading to learn how it’s done.
On iPhone, Apple’s screen recording feature records a video of what’s going on on your screen. This is great if you want to capture gameplay, walk through app tutorials, or demonstrate bugs.
On older iPhones with a notch at the top of the display, the notch will not appear in screen recordings. This is how it should be. However, on newer iPhones with a “Dynamic Island” cutout, such as the “iPhone 14 Pro” and “iPhone 14 Pro” Max, the “Dynamic Island” animates to display a red recording indicator and capture video. A cutout will appear.
This can be a distraction, especially if you want your audience’s attention to be focused on the main content of your screen recording. Luckily, there is a way to remove the “Dynamic Island” activity from your screen recording, and it’s very easy. The following steps show you how.
- Swipe diagonally down from the top-right corner of the screen to reveal the Control Center.
- Tap. screen recording button in the control center (if it’s not there you can add the functionality via Settings -> Control Center).
- Swipe the “dynamic island” horizontally from either edge of the cutout toward the center before the 3-second countdown ends.
After performing the actions mentioned in the last step, the countdown timer will disappear and the dynamic island and red screen recording indicator will no longer appear in the captured screen recording. If you want to stop recording,[ダイナミック アイランド]to tap[停止]Show button.
