Thanks Rochester.
Or at least their airport.

On Christmas Eve Saturday, the Buffalo Bills (12-3) received an early gift of the 2022 AFC East title.
The Bills defeated the Chicago Bears (3-12). The celebration of the 35-13 victory didn’t last long…or maybe it lasted all night.
This was because the Buffalo airport was closed until 11am Monday morning due to weather, so the team had to change their travel plans. The bill was stuck in Chicago until at least Sunday.
Head coach Sean McDermott has revealed that Rochester has become the team’s new destination while Buffalo Airport is on lockdown.
“Everyone’s health and safety are of the utmost importance,” McDermott said. via video conferencing“Yes, it’s a shame we can’t go home, but there are many people in much worse shape than we are, including those who are home now.”
To get home for the holidays, the bill changed our travel plans. Their new flight is from Chicago to Rochester and then driving home…the pending driving ban has also been lifted.
