If you’re a Samsung laptop user, you’ll be happy to know that the company has unveiled its Galaxy Book 3 series of Windows computers at its latest Unpacked event. Don’t worry. Galaxy Book 3 computer colors are as follows:
Admittedly, Samsung didn’t go all out in the color department of its Galaxy Book 3 computers. There is no bespoke version and no radical collection of colors to choose from. Starting with the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, this computer will be graphite only. It is a dark gray that resembles a pencil lead.
The two less premium computers actually have more color options than the Ultra. However, not much else. Besides graphite, these computers also have a beige color. that’s all.
So these computers don’t have many color options, but that doesn’t really matter. Cell phones have even more color options because they are fashion statements. Computers have gotten more sophisticated and stylish over time, but you’re less likely to need “insane purple” or “unicorn pink” colors.
Besides color, what else can we expect from the Galaxy Book 2 series?
Short answer: power! Samsung has put a lot of effort into the specs of these computers. That’s most evident when looking at the Ultra variant. These computers now have some notable differences, but some similarities.
screen
All of these computers use Dynamic 2X AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Even the 14-inch version of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro has these specs. This means that you will have a great viewing experience while using these computers.
port
All these computers share the same port, but there are slight differences. It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A port, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot and a headphone jack. The only difference is that the Ultra model has HDMI 2.0 and his two other models have HDMI 1.4.
processing power
Ultra models use 13th Gen Intel Core i7/Core i9 (depending on specific regions). For GPU, use NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU/GeForce RTX 4070 (depending on region).
The other two models are both Intel Core i5/Core i7, so unfortunately there is no i9 option. Both use Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
All three models come with 8GB/16GB/32GB of LPDDR 5 RAM (the Ultra does not have an 8GB option). Also, all three models come with 256GB/512GB/1TB of SSD storage (the Ultra doesn’t have a 256GB option). If you need more storage, Ultra models come with an expansion slot.
battery
All three models come with 76Wh batteries (63Wh for the 14-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro), and the bottom two devices come with 65W charging, with the Ultra model capable of 100W charging.
