Engineering and industrial software providers Cadmatic and CONTACT Software have partnered to deliver the first shipbuilding-specific Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for shipyards.
Cadmatic, a ship design and information management solutions provider for the marine industry, said it will leverage the CONTACT Elements platform and its apps to offer a broader range of shipbuilding-specific digitization solutions.
Cadmatic’s range covers the entire shipbuilding project lifecycle, from design and engineering to prefabrication and production to maintenance and operations. The CONTACT Elements app is integrated with Cadmatic’s portfolio of design, engineering and information management solutions to address shipbuilding’s unique digitalization needs and optimize future shipbuilding-specific business, engineering and development processes.
