HONG KONG, Dec. 12 (IANS) Tech giant Apple’s lead time for delivery of iPhone 14 Pro models has been shortened slightly in China as the process of slowly restoring normal supply levels continues.
Delays, including Covid lockdowns and staff uprisings at Zhengzhou Foxconn facilities, the largest manufacturer of iPhone 14 Pro models, have adversely affected Apple’s supply of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones, AppleInsider reports. I’m here.
According to JP Morgan’s analysis, there are additional signs that things are improving, but they’re still just baby improvements.
Analysts believe shorter lead times in China are responsible for the gradual improvement in Pro model supply.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the supply of iPhone 14 Pro models has improved, shortening the lead time to reach customers.
On the other hand, it was reported last month that iPhone 14 Pro model shipments would drop by 20 million in the fourth quarter (Q4).
Meanwhile, workers at Apple’s iPhone supplier Foxconn’s largest factory in China clashed with security forces and company officials amid protests over delayed bonus payments for work during the Covid lockdown.
