Apple recently launched the HomePod 2. The device has a very similar design to his original HomePod, but with some minor hardware updates.

As you can see from the video, the new HomePod looks almost identical to the original HomePod.
This model has built-in temperature and humidity sensors that are also available on the HomePod Mini. It also has a new sound recognition feature that allows you to listen for alarms.
HomePod 2 listens for alarms from smoke detectors, carbon detectors and carbon monoxide sensors and sends notifications to your iPhone. You can see what Apple has to say about the new HomePod below.

The new HomePod is slightly cheaper than the original device, but still expensive for a smart speaker, retailing at $299 in the US and £299 in the UK.
