In a landmark settlement, Pedro Vaquer, CEO of Solatio, and Rafael Fonteles, Governor of PiauÃ, introduced the development of the biggest photovoltaic (PV) challenge in Brazil. The bold $1.98 billion challenge is about to strengthen the hydrogen manufacturing trade for ammonia manufacturing in ParnaÃÂba. The preliminary 3 GW section of the photo voltaic plant is predicted to be accomplished between mid-2025 and 2028.

Solatio revealed in a press launch that it has obtained an environmental license to provide 11.4 GW of inexperienced hydrogen and ammonia in PiauÃ, aiming to primarily serve the European market.

This announcement follows the settlement of the federal government of Piau’ in October 2023 to provide and export 5 GW of inexperienced ammonia, highlighting the area’s dedication to renewable power and sustainable industrial growth.
