Established in 2019, 100X.VC aims to invest Rs 125 crore in 100 early stage startups. The company has now invested in over 80 startups after evaluating over 20,000 applications. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, the company’s founder and partner Sanjay Mehta said the company is betting heavily on its fintech, SaaS, D2C and digital health businesses.
“We are investing in different sectors, but fintech is still a big opportunity. In the fintech space, we come across a lot of disruptive startups.We are also looking at no-code SaaS solutions. We continue to look to SaaS, Web 3 startups and D2C is still a favorite of many VCs.In 100X we see startups building categories that define their business and those that are in a niche and dominate that space. We are looking at brands that are looking to special solutions for consumers Another area where we are bullish is digital health We believe now is the right time to expand our digital health business I have.”
